Rider safety is paramount for all riders participating in the Aprilia test rides.
It is essential that correct motorcycle clothing is worn. Any rider not adhering to our rules will NOT be allowed to participate in any circumstances.
ALL riders must wear the following:
- A helmet (to ECE 22-05 or the older British Standard 6658 (categorised as Type A (blue label) or Type B (green label).
- A one piece leather motorcycle suit or a leather and/or textile long sleeved motorcycle jacket and trousers
- Full fingered motorcycling gloves
- A visor or goggles
- Robust footwear, preferably covering the ankles and designed specifically for riding with no laces
- Any rider without the correct apparell WILL NOT be allowed to ride.
In addition to the above riders will be offered the chance to wear a KNOX CE approved back protector which Aprilia strongly recommends.
Aprilia will not have clothing to supply on the day so it is essential riders come fully kitted out and ready to ride.
